Position Description :

No. of Positions : 3 positions

Minimum requirements :

1- MS OR MD in ophthalmology

2- 2 years fellowship or SR ship in any subspecialty like surgical retina or cornea or glaucoma or oculoplasty or squint or paediatric ophthalmology or comprehensive ophthalmology

3- Minimum 1 year experience after fellowship or sr ship

4- Proficient in surgical and Opd skills with high standard of care and precision.

5- Willingness to stay in raj eye hospital, apex center, Gorakhpur, UP east.

6- For one position of the branch 80 km away from Gorakhpur, as a chief consultant, must be very good in phaco surgery and general ophthalmology.

7- Other 2 positions at apex centre, consultants are expected to be a good teacher.

8- Registration in up medical council.

Job Responsibilities :

1- Patient care in opd and ipd with respect and precision

2- Training, mentoring and capacity building

3- Research, publications, orations

4- Chief consultant at a branch hospital one position with very good phaco and patient handling
